Primeline Group has been named winner of the Green Transformation Award at the Irish Logistics & Transport Awards 2026, recognised for a decarbonisation and ESG innovation programme that has embedded sustainability into the core of how one of Ireland's leading logistics businesses operates, grows, and plans for the future.
Judges were clear on what made the entry stand out, saying, "Primeline Group's approach to decarbonisation and ESG innovation earned strong praise for its scale, intent, and organisation-wide impact. By combining clear governance, credible data, and sustained investment in people, technology, and alternative energy, sustainability has been embedded into how the business operates and grows.”
“Their focus extends beyond carbon to education, inclusion, and the Sustainable Development Goals, showing how a logistics leader can deliver measurable environmental progress while reshaping culture, capability, and long-term value across the organisation," the panel also stated.
Primeline Group's recognition reflects the standard the Irish Logistics & Transport Awards set for green transformation entries, where the strongest submissions go beyond a single project to demonstrate systemic, organisation-wide change backed by evidence and long-term strategic commitment.
The Green Transformation Award is given to logistics and transport organisations that can document concrete actions moving their operations in a measurably more climate and environmentally friendly direction, with outcomes compared against previous years across areas including alternative fuels, decarbonisation, technology, and training.
The 2026 awards gala took place last February 26, 2026 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Santry.
