Singapore-based ARC Group has announced participation in the initial public offering of MTT Shipping and Logistics Bhd following the company's successful listing on Bursa Malaysia's Main Market, according to a company announcement.

The transaction marks another step in ARC Group's continued expansion in Southeast Asia, with Malaysia representing a significant portion of its regional business footprint. MTT Shipping raised RM652.5 million (€133 million) in its initial public offering and operates a fleet of 25 vessels across Southeast Asia, the Indian subcontinent and China.

The company has outlined plans to further expand its fleet with more than 12 additional vessels. The IPO was oversubscribed 2.7 times, with shares opening at RM1.08 (€0.22) on its Main Market debut on 21 April 2026, above the offer price of RM1.03 (€0.21), reflecting broad investor confidence in the company's prospects.

Head of Asset and Wealth Management Nigel Wong stated: "As global supply chains adapt to shifting geopolitical realities, Southeast Asia's maritime infrastructure becomes ever more strategically critical. ARC Group's Asset Management division is focused on identifying businesses at the intersection of regional growth and real-economy resilience — and MTT Shipping is a compelling example."

Wong added: "Its strong IPO debut reflects the same confidence we had when we committed to participate, and we are excited to support its future as a listed company."

The investment reflects ARC Group's approach to deploying capital across Asia through its Asset Management division, identifying high-growth businesses that underpin the real economy and are positioned to outperform in an increasingly complex global environment.

ARC Group continues to evaluate investment opportunities across Asia with focus on scalable platforms in infrastructure, logistics and capital-efficient growth sectors.
