Basalt Infrastructure Partners to acquire Chemco Ireland

London-based Basalt Infrastructure Partners will acquire specialist chemical logistics provider Chemco Ireland, pending regulatory approval. Serving semiconductor, pharmaceutical, food, and industrial sectors, Chemco operates critical infrastructure including temperature-controlled and ISO tank storage. With 2024 profits of €21.3m on €74.9m turnover, the company will retain its management team post-acquisition. Basalt plans to leverage Chemco’s strong market position to meet growing demand for specialised logistics in Ireland’s high-value industries.
