DHL Supply Chain has named Martin Willmor as CEO for its UK and Ireland business, succeeding Saul Resnick, who is stepping down to pursue opportunities outside the group. Willmor will report directly to Hendrik Venter, CEO of DHL Supply Chain.

This marks Willmor’s return to DHL, having previously spent two decades with the group. He first joined in 2002 and held senior leadership roles across operations and general management, driving growth across multiple sectors. In 2013, he became Vice President of Passenger Gateways and later Managing Director for Supply Chain Solutions.

In 2021, Willmor co-founded DigiHaul, a digital freight platform that streamlines carrier and load management, including tender management, haulier integration, and subcontractor coordination. Under his leadership, DigiHaul expanded internationally, now operating in four markets and delivering consistent year-on-year growth.

Hendrik Venter highlighted Willmor’s experience, strategic mindset, and leadership capabilities, noting he is well positioned to guide DHL UKI through its next growth phase. The appointment reinforces DHL’s focus on innovation, operational efficiency, and customer service across road transport, warehousing, and supply chain solutions.

Willmor commented on his return: “I am honoured to be taking on this role. Having grown my career within DHL, I know first-hand the dedication and talent of our people. Together, we will continue to build on our strong foundations, delivering outstanding service for our customers and continuing to lead the market by example.”

The leadership change comes as DHL Supply Chain continues to strengthen its digital freight capabilities and expand its presence in the UK and Ireland logistics and transport markets. Willmor’s experience in digitalisation and operational optimisation positions him to accelerate growth, enhance service delivery, and deepen customer engagement across all business units.
