DP World boosts carbon inset credits to accelerate supply chain decarbonisation

From October, DP World will increase the carbon credits offered to customers fivefold, granting 250kg CO2e per loaded container imported through its UK ports. The initiative, powered by low-carbon fuels across Unifeeder’s Northern European shipping network and Svitzer’s tug operations, supports businesses in cutting Scope 3 emissions tied to port calls.

With over 200,000 TEU registrations since launch, the expanded programme underscores rising demand for practical, scalable decarbonisation in logistics.
