UK-based parcel delivery group Evri has surpassed one billion parcels delivered annually, reaching the milestone three years ahead of its original target following a record financial year and the completion of its merger with DHL eCommerce UK in October 2025.

According to Parcel and Postal Technology International, group parcel volumes increased 17% for the 12 months to 28 February 2026, with group revenue rising 29% year-on-year to £2.38bn (€2.81bn) and group adjusted EBITDA increasing 18% to £402m (€474m). Capital expenditure reached £80m (€94.4m) over the same period, up from £57m (€67.3m) the previous year.

Martijn de Lange, CEO of Evri Group, said: "Shopping habits have changed for good. The growth of online small businesses, social commerce and pre-loved marketplaces last year is driving parcel volumes higher, with the combined Evri Group now delivering more than one billion parcels annually. Our ambition is to become the UK's largest parcel company by 2030, delivering 1.4 billion parcels a year."

The enlarged Evri Group now encompasses six operating brands: Evri, Evri Premium, Evri Fulfilment, Evri International, UK Mail and Coll-8, the Irish customs clearance and logistics specialist acquired in May 2025. The addition of Coll-8 strengthens the group's cross-border capability on the UK-Ireland corridor at a time of sustained growth in Irish e-commerce volumes.

Key capital investments in FY25/26 include approximately £30m (€35.4m) in automated sortation technology at Evri's Barnsley super hub, comprising a £25m (€29.5m) third-tier sortation upgrade and a £4m (€4.7m) small-item sorter, enabling the site to process up to 1.5 million parcels per day by Christmas 2026. A £50m (€59m) investment will expand the group's ParcelShop and locker network to 25,000 UK locations by 2030, including the launch of its first owned smart lockers.

Technology investments include Veri-snap, an AI-powered system that reviews delivery photographs to check service standards, and a new courier app designed to improve delivery quality and compliance across the network.
