Damien Healy, commercial director of South Coast Logistics and managing director of Specto Ltd, has joined the judging panel for the Irish Logistics & Transport Awards 2026, bringing more than 20 years of experience spanning engineering, sales, and senior leadership roles.

As Managing Director of Specto Ltd, Damien successfully transformed the business from a fleet maintenance provider into a full-service parts and servicing operation, now supporting clients nationwide. His hands-on leadership and commercial insight have underpinned the company’s expansion and strengthened its reputation across the transport and logistics ecosystem.

In his role as Commercial Director of South Coast Logistics, Damien has overseen significant growth in the company’s logistics footprint, supporting customers across sectors including food, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, and dry bulk. His work has been instrumental in enhancing service capability, deepening client relationships, and positioning the business as a trusted logistics partner across complex and regulated industries.

As a judge, Damien will bring a practical, commercially grounded perspective to the assessment of award entries, with a particular focus on operational performance, scalability, partnership development, and long-term value creation within the logistics and transport sector.

The Irish Logistics & Transport Awards 2026 gala will take place on 26 February 2026, bringing together industry leaders from across Ireland to celebrate innovation, operational excellence, and outstanding achievement.
