Manfreight took home both the Independent Transport Operator of the Year and the Excellence in Warehousing award at the Irish Logistics & Transport Awards 2026, recognised across two distinct operational categories for a business that is scaling with purpose, investing consistently in its people and infrastructure, and embedding innovation into how it runs day to day.

On the Independent Transport Operator of the Year award, judges stated: "This entrant demonstrated outstanding independent transport leadership, combining rapid growth with disciplined, people-first leadership. Manfreight demonstrated strong strategic awareness through sustained investment in fleet, infrastructure, technology, and compliance, supporting impressive year-on-year expansion.”

“What stood out most was the commitment to staff wellbeing, driver health and safety, and training, backed by round-the-clock customer support that reinforces reliability at every touchpoint. Confident, well-structured, and clearly executed, this is a business scaling with purpose and sophistication," the judges added.

On the Excellence in Warehousing award, the panel added: "Manfreight demonstrated strong operational performance across multiple sites, backed by clear data and well-executed initiatives. The use of AI, IoT, blockchain, and sustainable cold chain solutions showed innovation embedded into everyday operations, while clear health and safety priorities reinforced a culture of care and control. A well-run, modern warehousing operation delivering results with consistency and precision."

The double recognition reflects the standard the Irish Logistics & Transport Awards set across both transport and warehousing categories, where the strongest submissions demonstrate that operational excellence, people-centred leadership, and technological innovation are not competing priorities but the foundations of a business built to last.
