Cork-based Johnson & Perrott Motor Group has appointed Trevor Toner as Managing Director of National Truck & Van Rental, one of Ireland's largest commercial vehicle rental, contract hire and fleet solutions providers, as the company continues to invest in its leadership, fleet and service offering.
According to National Truck & Van Rental, Toner joins with extensive experience across the Irish motor, fleet and mobility sectors. Most recently he served as Chief Operating Officer of Cedar Motors, where he held responsibility for the Renault, Dacia and Alpine brands in Ireland. Prior to that, he spent ten years as Operations Director with Sixt Rent a Car and also held the position of Commercial Director with NiftiBusiness, building significant expertise across vehicle rental, fleet management and customer mobility solutions.

The company became part of Johnson & Perrott Motor Group in 2018 and serves customers across logistics, distribution, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, retail, construction and specialist transport sectors.
The appointment strengthens the senior leadership team at a time when demand for flexible commercial vehicle solutions continues to grow across the Irish logistics and transport market.
