Japan-based Nippon Express Holdings has enhanced operational systems at its Thai subsidiary’s Don Mueang Airport facility, according to a company press release, improving speed, reliability, and handling standards in the logistics and transport sector.
The upgrade by NX Logistics Thailand enables full on-site completion of import and export processes, reducing reliance on external handling and tightening operational control in time-sensitive air freight movements.
Located at Don Mueang International Airport, the facility benefits from lower congestion and efficient cargo flows, allowing late-night arrivals to be delivered across Bangkok by the following morning, shortening lead times compared with conventional routes.
The system improvements also support high-speed handling for urgent shipments, while mitigating congestion risks and improving execution reliability across transport plans serving regional trade corridors.
NX Logistics Thailand has introduced an in-house build-up service, deploying dedicated staff to directly manage cargo loading onto aircraft, increasing operational accuracy and consistency in export handling processes.
The company has expanded services beyond Japan, China, and South Korea to include Delhi, India, where demand for air cargo logistics remains strong, reinforcing intra-Asia connectivity.
The development aligns with Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor initiative, which is expected to drive further demand for integrated logistics services and position Don Mueang as a complementary gateway to Suvarnabhumi Airport.
Nippon Express Holdings stated it will continue strengthening coordination with manufacturing and distribution hubs to address evolving supply chain requirements across Asia.
