Irish construction company Vision Contracting has completed Globe Logistics Park in Naas, County Kildare, for Red Rock Logistics, with the flagship 191,092-square-foot development achieving LEED Gold certification, according to Construction News.

Acting as Design and Build main contractor, Vision Contracting managed civil engineering and infrastructure upgrades to create a high-performance industrial hub.

The development spans approximately 17,753 square metres across two detached units and is situated on the north side of Monread Road.

The park's proximity to Junction 9 on the M7 motorway provides connectivity to Dublin, Cork and Limerick, positioning it as a hub for national supply chains.

Vision Contracting undertook significant civil engineering works including widening of Monread Road, creating dedicated access and egress lanes to manage heavy goods vehicle traffic without compromising local road network capacity.

Director Colm Fehily stated: "The goal from the outset was to transform this strategic site into a future-proofed industrial hub for our valued client Red Rock Logistics. Managing the construction within a live environment while coordinating offsite fabrication and sustainable drainage systems while seamlessly integrating major infrastructure upgrades required meticulous planning and coordination by our site team and design consultants. We are proud to have delivered Unit A1 and A2 on programme and on budget, while achieving LEED Gold & BER A2."

David Carroll of Red Rock Logistics noted: "It was a pleasure working with Vision Contracting and their Design Team to bring our vision for Globe Logistics Park to life. Their early engagement was instrumental in transforming an underutilised landholding into a modern logistics park delivered efficiently on budget and on programme."
